Brian Dale isn’t just a Milwaukee-based singer, songwriter, and drummer—he’s a master at blending passion with intellect in every note. Raised by dedicated musicians, Brian developed an early appreciation for expression, diversity, and style, qualities that have shaped his rare musical presence. His performances are known for leaving a lasting impression, crafting music that speaks to both the heart and the mind.
His album, Sticks and Stones, originally released to critical acclaim, is being reissued in 2024. The opening track, “Free and Renewed,” sets the tone with a compelling vocal performance layered over a captivating groove, featuring the moody and soulful trumpet of Latin Jazz Grammy winner Brian Lynch. Co-produced by GRAMMY-winner Joe Puerta (Ambrosia, Bruce Hornsby) and Kevin Arndt, Sticks and Stones offers extraordinary melodies, lush harmonies, and dynamic rhythms. It even includes a track handpicked for the indie film Sawdust City.
As an artist who’s always evolving, Brian’s 2024 releases of “In The City” and his a cappella cover of the Eagles’ “I Can’t Tell You Why,” reflect his continued artistic growth. His range spans jazz, rock, pop, and funk, with performances alongside celebrated acts like Brian Lynch, GRAMMY-nominated Ambrosia, Joe Puerta, Streetlife with Warren Wiegratz, Tracy Hannemann, Les Lokey, Peter Mac, and Melissa Mathes, and has been a guest performer with many different artists.
A seasoned session drummer and vocalist, Brian’s talents have been featured on numerous CDs and jingles, solidifying his reputation in both original and cover projects. His work remains fresh, original, and a testament to his deep connection to music.
